External User tab is missing for Administrator

An instance of Web TimeSheet has Time Attend and Time Bill licenses. However, when the administrator accesses the application, she is not able to find the External User tab under Users section.

Possible Cause:
External users are associated with the projects (which is part of Time Bill). The administrator must have Time Bill enabled under Seat Assignments in his profile to be able to access the External user's tab.

To enable Time Bill seat assignment:

  • Log in as an administrator.
  • Click on Administration tab on the top.
  • Click on Users under Shortcuts.
  • Locate the Administrator's user profile using the search feature at the bottom of the page.
  • Edit the user profile by clicking on the edit icon beside the user name.
  • Enable Time Bill in the Seat Assignments section  under Access tab.
  • Click Save.

The above steps can be used to enable any license (Seat Assignment) for users in Web TimeSheet.
