As Chief Executive Officer, Raj is responsible for executing the company's strategic goals and leading corporate initiatives. With more than 25 years of software development and senior management experience, he is widely recognized for his visionary approach in developing innovative software applications that meet the needs of leading enterprise organizations. Raj has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai-India, and is an active member of the high-tech business community.
In her position as Co-Chief Executive Officer, Lakshmi is focused on strategic initiatives for Replicon's global operations, including market share expansion, revenue generation, and worldwide sales activities. She has extensive experience in web-based marketing and was instrumental in providing global visibility for Replicon's product. Prior to starting Replicon, she worked as a software engineer for Verity (formerly known as FTP Canada). Lakshmi holds degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
With over 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, Peter, who also holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation, offers a wealth of experience in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and securities filings. He specializes in guiding growing high-tech companies to maturity, an ability that led him to great success as the former leader of the Information, Communication, and Entertainment practice of KPMG Calgary.
Suresh is responsible for Replicon’s Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) operations. He has 20+ years of combined experience in enterprise software and SaaS, with a track record of translating marketing vision into successfully deployed products. Prior to Replicon, he was the founding SVP of Engineering at TrueDemand, where he built SaaS solutions for the retail sector. Earlier in his career he also held senior management roles at leading technology companies including i2, RightWorks, and Sybase. Suresh has a degree in Computer Science and an MBA.
As COO for India, Shan Nagappan is responsible for oversight of all of Replicon’s Indian operations. Nagappan has over 22 years of experience in managing Indian operations for multi-national software companies, enterprise software implementations and IT consulting, including 15 years successfully deploying the offshore delivery model. Most recently, he was Managing Director for Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions in India, with prior employments at Pride Technologies, Insight and KPMG. Nagappan has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, from Regional Engineering College in Trichy, India, and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Houston.
Maggie brings more than 15 years of experience to Replicon's customer support, implementation, customer success and customer advocacy initiatives. She is responsible for driving customer growth through pre and post sales support, and working with the sales team to provide an integrated customer retention, adoption and growth service. Maggie joined Replicon in 1999 and has an in-depth understanding of Replicon's products, customer pain points and innovation, having worked in various sales roles, as the Senior Director of Cloud Migration and most recently, as Vice President of Customer Advocacy.
Vien brings more than 15 years of experience in software development, product management, and human resources – a combination that gives her excellent insight into the inner workings of a fast-paced, high profile Cloud organization. She is responsible for Replicon's global Human Resources strategy, focusing specifically on talent recruitment and retention, performance management, and compensation/bonus programs. Her Topgrading approach has made a valuable impact on Replicon's global team. Vien is a Certified Global Professional in HR (GPHR) with an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and she holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
John is an accomplished sales leader with over 20 years’ experience across a variety of high technology industries. Most recently, he led the SAP Successfactors sales teams in Canada with a specialty in finance and the public sector. Prior to that he led the enterprise and mid-market sales teams of ADP Canada. He can be characterized as both a tireless advocate for the customer, and a builder of high-performing sales teams. John holds a BSc from McGill University.
Jason is a founder and General Partner of Emergence Capital and has over fifteen years of experience in the venture capital business. Prior to founding Emergence, Jason spent six years as a General Partner with USVP and as an associate and Kauffman Fellow with Venrock, the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family. Earlier in his career he worked at Bain & Co. and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
Jason has led successful early-stage venture investments that became market leading public companies such as SuccessFactors (SFSF), DoubleClick (DCLK), aQuantive (AQNT), Visual Networks (VNWK), and Ask Jeeves (ASK). He also led investments in Yammer (acquired by MSFT) and EchoSign (acquired by Adobe) and currently serves on the boards of Lotame, ServiceMax, Digital Airstrike, TouchCommerce, xAD, and is a board observer at Box.
Chamath Palihapitiya is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Social+Capital Partnership (Social+Capital) – a venture capital fund based in Palo Alto, CA that incubates and invests in breakthrough companies in healthcare, education, financial services, mobile and enterprise software. Preceding his focus as an investor, Chamath was the longest tenured member of Facebook's senior executive team and helped drive its ascension to one of the most important companies in the world. Prior to Facebook, Chamath had leading roles at The Mayfield Fund, AIM+ICQ, and Winamp. In addition to his focus at the fund, Chamath is Owner and Director of the NBA's Golden State Warriors. Chamath was born in Sri Lanka, grew up in Canada, and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Aaron Levie is the CEO and co-founder of Box, which he originally created as a college business project with the goal of helping people easily access their information from any location. Box was launched from Aaron's dorm room in 2005 with the help of CFO Dylan Smith. He is the visionary behind Box's product and platform strategy, which is focused on incorporating the best of traditional content management with the most effective elements of social business software. He has spoken about content and collaboration tools at events such as Fortune Brainstorm Tech, Web 2.0, Dreamforce, Accenture Global Summit, South by Southwest, and Svase.
Aaron studied business at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California before taking a leave of absence.
David O. Sacks is the former Chief Operating Officer of Zenefits. Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of Yammer, Inc., which was acquired by Microsoft for 1.2 billion in 2012. Earlier, Sacks was the COO of PayPal until its acquisition by eBay.
David holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
David Obrand brings over 20 years' experience in sales, technology, operations and management to Radius Intelligence. Previously, he served as the CEO at Fuzebox, and was the Chief Customer Officer at Yammer, playing an instrumental role in the company's fast-paced growth and eventual acquisition by Microsoft. Earlier, David served as Vice President of Vertical Sales at Salesforce.com, where he established record revenue growth, quickly scaling Salesforce's global footprint.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. In his spare time, he is an avid scuba diver, angel investor and philanthropist.
Vijay Tella is founder and CEO of Workato, a powerful, DIY integration service for business users to integrate their apps. Prior to this he was the VP of Mobile Video at Skype, after it acquired Qik, where he was the CEO.
Before Qik, Vijay was the Chief Strategy Officer for Oracle Fusion Middleware where he helped grow the division from $220 million to $2.5 billion in revenue in five years. Vijay was a founder and SVP of Engineering at TIBCO, a leading provider of real-time middleware communications products. During his tenure at TIBCO, the company grew to more than $300 million in annual sales and went public via an initial public offering. Prior to TIBCO, Vijay was a VP at Teknekron Software systems, which was acquired by Reuters Plc in 1994.
