Timesheet Software Leader, Replicon, Inc., Releases Web TimeSheet 8.8

April 27, 2009 – Calgary, Alberta – As a part of their industry-best product release schedule, Replicon, Inc., has released Web TimeSheet 8.8. This release further demonstrates Replicon’s attentiveness to customer feedback as it incorporates many requested features and enhancements from its users into their market leading software.

“This latest release introduces our Customer Portal, allowing customers to manage their account options and support inquiries,” says Raj Narayanaswamy, Chief Executive Officer of Replicon, Inc. “We strive to find new ways of enhancing our customers’ experience with Replicon products and services, and will continue to focus on sustaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring a lasting relationship.”

Web TimeSheet Project & Billing Edition allows users to track time against projects, compare actual versus estimated project hours and compare expected revenue to the total cost of the project. Web TimeSheet Time & Attendance Edition allows users to track time off, streamline their time and attendance process and adjust payroll based on overtime calculations.

Key new features and enhancements to Web TimeSheet 8.8 include:

Interactive Customer Portal

Organizations can evaluate and purchase their Web TimeSheet solution directly through the customer portal, which also allows them to manage their accounts on an ongoing basis. With flexible purchasing options, they can choose a plan that best fits their needs – and make changes later, if required. Customers also have access to any cases they’ve submitted to Replicon’s Customer Support team, which gives them the visibility into the issues they’ve reported and what Replicon is doing to address those issues.

Anniversary Accruals

Web TimeSheet’s anniversary accruals have been enhanced to include an option for updates on the employee’s anniversary date, which means that organizations can now set up rules to increase an employee’s accruals automatically at a year, two years, five years, etc. from the employee’s original start date.

Custom Columns in Reports

Users can now create custom columns using text strings. These text columns address the needs of organizations across various industries, allowing them to create fields that use the terminology appropriate to their business. Text columns also can be used to format the report for export, a common practice for businesses that need to move their timesheet data into an accounting or payroll solution.

QuickBooks Payroll Integration

A new option in Web TimeSheet’s QuickBooks Integration allows timesheets to be transferred with payroll items, ensuring organizations can get their time data to QuickBooks for the purpose of processing employees’ pay checks. This enhancement is an addition to the existing functionality that allows time transfer for billing purposes.
