Replicon Software Continues to Exceed the Toughest Security Standards

SSAE-16San Mateo, CA, June 6, 2012 – Replicon, the leading provider of cloud-based (SaaS) timesheet software, is pleased to announce that it has completed a service auditor’s review SSAE 16 SOC 1, formerly known as a SAS 70 II audit, of its solutions. SSAE 16 is conducted by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and defines the professional standards used by a service auditor to assess the internal controls of a service organization.

With more than 1.5 million users in 70 countries, the Replicon name is synonymous with trust and security. Replicon’s cloud-based solutions have given customers freedom from expensive ongoing maintenance and system upgrades that reinforce Replicon’s dedication to a hassle-free experience. Replicon’s growing list of customers benefit from easy implementation, tight security, and seamless upgrades and maintenance.

The recent security audit was a success due to Replicon’s stringent internal standards for its services in the areas of Control Environment, Physical Security, Environmental Protection, Computer Operations, Information Security, Application Change Control, Data Communications and Data Input and Validation.

Replicon’s service auditor performed extensive testing of how these have been implemented by the company. Following the rigorous examination, the auditing firm was able to issue an unqualified “yes” to every one of the areas mentioned above.

According to Alfred Wong, Replicon’s Head of Security, “With the many changes taking place in the information technology world, Replicon will be constantly updating its security program to not only meet the expectations set by the AICPA, but exceed them.”

Replicon scored highly on its hassle-free promise that it makes to its customers. As Replicon’s CEO Lakshmi Raj stated, “We stand by our commitment to our clients in doing our very best so that they enjoy truly hassle-free software.”
