Replicon, Inc. Announces its 1,000th Web TimeOff Online Seminar Attendee

Calgary, AB (PRWEB) July 25, 2006 — Replicon, Inc., the corporate time and expense tracking vendor of choice for businesses, today announced its 1,000th Web TimeOff online seminar attendee. Web TimeOff is the leading Web-based employee time off tracking solution.

Trustar Federal Credit Union, one of an ever-growing number of Web TimeOff customers, chose Web TimeOff not only for its great features, but also because of the ease of evaluation.

Team members of Trustar Federal Credit Union evaluated several possible Web-based time-off tracking solutions. Debra Jackson, vice president of human resources and support, said that Replicon is “heads above knowing their product during the demo” and Web TimeOff’s product experts are “very professional in [their delivery and quickly responded to [their questions or concerns.”

“Since we had been searching and reviewing other software, it was real easy to make the decision to go with Replicon,” said Jackson. “The e-mail feature was the deal closer … Replicon is a professional company that had a product that met our [requirements and was willing to help us meet 100% of our needs.”

The company’s Web TimeOff online seminar attendees have already surpassed anticipated benchmarks for this quarter. Replicon’s business analyst and controller, C. Janke, predicted that the Web TimeOff online seminars (also called webinars) attendance would drop slightly from June to September. Instead, webinar attendance has mirrored the temperatures of summer: steadily rising.

“Historical trends reveal that quarter three is the slowest period for webinar attendance and product queries because [Q3 is the vacation peak season,” explained Janke. “However, we are seeing a spike in attendance and I would attribute this conversion firstly to North America’s booming market economy and secondly to a growing awareness that this technology exists.”

The rising economic trends alongside recent volatility in the stock market arena have many businesses tightening their regulated financial processes to stabilize operations, said Janke. As a result, many companies are looking for ways to reduce operational costs.

“Many companies are now realizing that the liability of paid time off is indeed real money, especially when large amounts have had to be paid out during layoffs,” explained Janke. “Senior executives are seeing the management of PTO as an opportunity to improve ongoing operating costs and reduce liability.”

Replicon’s developers understood the need for a Web-based employee time off tracking application to help companies control their budgets for time and attendance, PTO, vacation, and sick leave. Web TimeOff 1.0 was launched in November 2005. At that time, Janke forecasted that an automated time off tracking solution would become a product of high interest in the market within six to eight months.

Eight months later, Web TimeOff webinar attendance and revenue sales are soaring. Results show that nine out of ten attendees choose Web TimeOff following a webinar as they uncover the application’s cost-reduction and time-saving benefits.

WebTimeOff is a robust, time-off tracking software designed for use by employees, managers, and human resources administrators. Its scalable system allows for flexibility and ease-of-use for anyone interested in tracking the duration and frequency of scheduled and unscheduled employees in companies of any size. Web TimeOff’s key features include master calendar views, automated and centralized recording system, automatic e-mail notifications and many more.
