Instead, webinar attendance has mirrored the temperatures of summer: steadily rising.

“Historical trends reveal that quarter three is the slowest period for webinar attendance and product queries because [Q3 is the vacation peak season,” explained Janke. “However, we are seeing a spike in attendance and I would attribute this conversion firstly to North America’s booming market economy and secondly to a growing awareness that this technology exists.”

The rising economic trends alongside recent volatility in the stock market arena have many businesses tightening their regulated financial processes to stabilize operations, said Janke. As a result, many companies are looking for ways to reduce operational costs.

“Many companies are now realizing that the liability of paid time off is indeed real money, especially when large amounts have had to be paid out during layoffs,” explained Janke. “Senior executives are seeing the management of PTO as an opportunity to improve ongoing operating costs and reduce liability.”
