Replicon Inc. and Microsoft to Host Webinar on E-mail Best Practices for the Workplace

Calgary, Alberta, Canada – (January 13, 2005) – Replicon Inc., the leading provider of time tracking software, is pleased to host a free webinar on January 19th, 2005 at 2:00pm EST with Erik Moll, Business Productivity Advisor at Microsoft Canada and guest speaker Christina Cavanagh, an internationally recognized e-mail expert. This event is invaluable to any individual that uses e-mail at work.

Replicon’s upcoming webinar will combine Ms. Cavanagh’s extensive research on e-mail best practices and Mr. Moll’s considerable product knowledge of Microsoft Outlook. Cavanagh will provide practical tips and techniques for using e-mail more productively and wisely. Moll will then review the latest tips, tricks, and best practices for managing your Outlook inbox.

According to Ms. Cavanagh, author of “Managing Your E-mail,” employees now receive up to 75 e-mails per day. As a result, employees also waste up to 20 hours every week sorting and managing these e-mails, causing more productivity loss than gain.

Cavanagh believes that more e-mail training is necessary, as only 10% of employees know how to properly use their e-mail programs such as Microsoft Outlook. “Some executives don’t even know how to get an e-mail out of the ‘inbox’ outside of ‘read’ and ‘delete,’” says Cavanagh.
