Replicon Expands International Presence With New Sydney Office

SYDNEY, 10 October, 2013 — Replicon, the global leader in cloud time tracking applications, today announced its expansion into the Australia & New Zealand market, with the opening of an office in Sydney. The move demonstrates Replicon’s commitment to the market and is telling of its significant growth in the Asia Pacific region.

John Kearney (previously of CA Technologies) will head up the operations in the North Sydney office and will immediately start working with the thriving customer base in the Asia Pacific region.

The Replicon offices will be initially staffed with four employees, with projections to double in size annually. The Australian operation will focus on sales and marketing support for the region, and will be uniquely positioned to identify business trends and product requirements within Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. Currently, Replicon services more than 200 customers in the region from companies with fewer than 50 employees to large enterprises.

“Across industries and across the globe, the need for effective cloud time tracking has never been greater,” said John Kearney, vice president of sales at Replicon. “This demand, along with the region’s growing appeal to businesses, presents a unique opportunity for Replicon to reach new customers. At the same time, the office brings us closer to our established customers in the region, enabling us to deliver more personalised service.”

More than 7,800 companies worldwide – including local customers; the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), Staples Australia, Altis Consulting, Terra Firma and Peritus International – rely on Replicon’s award-winning, hassle-free time tracking and workforce management solutions. Using a single platform to track time, Replicon’s cloud-based, easy-to-implement tools allow companies to optimise workforce productivity, reduce compliance risk and gain insight into business operations. Today, white-collar contractors fuel many professional services firms and organisations.

Replicon provides the agility to monitor and appropriately employ these resources. Furthermore, Replicon’s HR and project management solutions can be implemented whenever and wherever required, adding a new dimension to the mobile, modern workplace.

“As the sixth global Replicon hub, our Sydney office is a strategic move to cultivate an ecosystem of sales representatives and marketing experts in support of our valued customers in a fast-growing region,” said Jon Kondo, chief revenue officer at Replicon. “This is an exciting time for Replicon as we continue to broaden and deepen our global market presence.”

Replicon’s newest office will be located at 32/101 Miller Street, North Sydney, NSW, 2060 Australia.
