Replicon Announces New “RepliConnect API” For Powerful, Hassle-Free Integrations

San Francisco, CA, October 5, 2010 – Replicon, the leading provider of hassle-free, time and expense management software, today announced the general availability of the new RepliConnect API, a powerful set of web-enabled APIs that will help customers create robust, efficient and hassle-free integrations between Replicon’s SaaS timesheet solutions and any open third party application.

“We’re incredibly pleased to offer the RepliConnect API to our customers. It gives companies the ability to create secure, bi-directional integrations and share data between Replicon’s Web TimeSheet and multiple applications in real-time.” said Scott Bales, Director, Product Management. “Now you can easily pass user, project, billing, time off and timesheet data into Quickbooks, MS Project, Ceridian or any other open application. The RepliConnect API creates thousands of integration opportunities.”

“It’s incredibly important for us to have employee timesheet data in our accounting system so we can easily pay employees and accurately bill our clients.” said Nancy Connery, CEO of Connery Consulting. “The new RepliConnect API will make it much easier to integrate Web TimeSheet with Quickbooks and any other application, to give us real-time access to the data we need. We no longer have to manually enter data and we can be sure everything is accurate. It’s so much more efficient than a manual process.”

With the RepliConnect API, organizations can create integrations to add and modify users, automatically export data to payroll applications, export billing data, create custom reports and implement custom business rules in other applications. RepliConnect API uses standard HTTP protocols and a JSON architecture so it is extremely reliable and easy to use.

“It was very important for us to make integrations with our new RepliConnect API extremely efficient.” said Bales. “The object groupings maximize the amount of data transferred per transaction, minimizing the number of calls required to get a complete data set.”

“These integrations can increase the return on our customers’ investment in Replicon significantly. We want all customers to be able to leverage this powerful, complimentary offering immediately.” said Raj Narayanaswamy, co-CEO.
