Kraft serves Replicon’s Web TimeSheet throughout their enterprise
March 28, 2000 Calgary, Canada – Replicon, Inc., the leader in e-Business applications today announced that Kraft Foods will implement Web TimeSheet for 17,000 employees throughout North America starting in the next three months. Kraft Foods, North America’s largest packaged-food company, will deploy the intranet-based Web TimeSheet as a key component for their Employee Self Service (ESS) system to improve administrative efficiency, reduce payroll processing cost and to provide employee satisfaction.
Replicon’s Web TimeSheet improves productivity and efficiency across the board, for the employee who has to enter time, for the supervisor who has to approve the timesheet and the payroll manager who has to manage the entire payroll process in a cost effective manner.
In addition to deploying the base Web TimeSheet application, Replicon has agreed to design several enhancements to meet the size and complexity of Kraft Foods’ expanding e-Business strategy. Web TimeSheet “web-enables” the entire time entry process leveraging email and workflow for notification and secured approval of employee timesheets. Replicon anticipates many of these new functional capabilities will be built into future releases.
