How Atlas Pipeline Boosted Efficiency and ROI by using Replicon

Atlas Pipeline Partners, LP, is a prominent player in the gathering and processing segments of the midstream natural gas industry. Headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the company has about 425 employees in decentralized field locations in Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Beset with time tracking issues

A rapidly growing firm with massive capital expenditure invested in over 1,000 projects across several states, Atlas Pipeline found itself hamstrung by disparate systems that required employees to enter their work time twice: first into ADP to track payroll time, and then another system to record time spent working on capital projects.

Compounding the issue was the fact that their old system didn’t allow employees to enter time worked remotely while on the road or at home. Instead, employees had to physically go to their field office to enter and submit time worked, which was an inefficient waste of time, fuel, and effort.

One solution to track time for capital projects and payroll

To eliminate their time and capital cost tracking issues, Atlas Pipeline deployed Replicon TimeCost and Replicon TimeAttend—the only products on the market that could effectively meet all of their capital project costing and payroll time capture needs. A key differentiator for choosing Replicon was its ease of use and cloud-based system that eliminated the need to invest in hardware and software in-house.

With the Replicon solutions in place, Atlas Pipeline, for the first time, was able to accurately manage employee time reporting and streamline their operations. The company saw a significant increase in productivity because employees could now submit time reports from any mobile device or browser. Moreover, Replicon’s innovative and user-friendly system greatly enhanced employee satisfaction by allowing employees to not only see their available time off, but also book time off—simply by logging into the system anytime, anywhere.

Atlas Pipeline was able to eliminate obsolete and redundant systems and save considerable amounts of time in their administrative, HR, payroll, and finance departments as well. What’s more, their IT costs dropped and employee satisfaction increased substantially when they adopted Replicon since they no longer needed to support multiple systems. Atlas Pipeline attained a high ROI, which has had a direct impact on increasing distributed cash flow to its shareholders.
