An Easy-To-Use Interface accompanies Web TimeSheet Integration Manager. The Integration Manager guides users through the transfer process with a step-by-step wizard. As part of each step, detailed information and instructions are provided to assist users in configuring the available options and selecting data for transfer. Additionally, the wizard prompts users to ensure supporting data is available before transferring.
Web TimeSheet Integration Manager with Intuit's QuickBooks enables you to
automatically transfer your time, and expense into QuickBooks, increasing the speed and accuracy of your billing process.
QBI Payroll will allow the transfer of time data to payroll enabled timesheets in addition to non-payroll enabled timesheets
in QuickBooks. Also, field mapping options for “Class” and “Payroll Item” fields have been expanded to offer greater flexibility.
The New Features and Utilities Screen will allow users to pick and choose which data transfer wizards and utilities are visible in the left hand side menu.
It also allows users to control which time tracking operations are available.
The Time Tracking Wizard displays a new start screen which asks the user what they would like to do:
- Transfer time entries to non-payroll (billing) timesheets
- Transfer time entries to payroll timesheets
- Include Project/Task/Role data on payroll timesheets
- Transfer time off entries to payroll timesheets
Automatic Creation of Accounts and Items When Transferring Expenses
in QuickBooks. When creating vendor bills, an Item is assigned to each billable expense and an Account is attached to each non-billable expense.
To ensure a successful transfer, Web TimeSheet Billing Integration provides the option to automatically create the necessary Items and Accounts using
the mapped Web TimeSheet values. Additionally, a utility is provided to assist users in transferring the Items and Accounts and the related Expense Codes between the two applications.
Expanded Field Mapping
controls now provide “Category” and “Field” filters. Users can select a category to get a list of fields available
within that category. Field options typically include all Name, Code, Description and enabled UDF fields for each Web TimeSheet object.
Enhanced Upgrade Process
starting with version 4.3, the QuickBooks Integration Manager is able to determine if upgrades are available.
If so, upgrades will be handled automatically, seconds before the Integration Manager starts up.
The Save Configurations Feature
for QBI 5.1 will allow users to export and import configuration settings similar to the
function available in the QBI 2.x series. This permits users to:
- Backup configuration settings
- Move settings to a second office or home machine
- Share configuration settings with co-workers
- Transfer different sets of data to different company files
