What’s New in Web TimeOff Version 2.3

The following new features are available in version 2.3 of Web TimeOff:

  • Hours Per Day History allows users to keep a record of the Hours Per Day set for each employee as this setting changes over time. This ensures all Web TimeOff calculations account for any historical changes made to this setting. Plus, the new Employee Hours Per Day Import and Export feature lets users quickly modify the Hours Per Day setting for a large number of employees.
  • Improved Outlook Integration means employees can now add approved time off requests to their Microsoft Outlook calendar directly from their Web TimeOff Shared and Approval calendars. All approved requests appearing in the employee’s selected calendar view will be added.
  • Improved Permissions options for Substitute Users allow users to more easily and precisely specify permission settings for their assigned substitutes. Users with Approval permission can now choose whether or not their substitute users are allowed to approve time off on their behalf. Plus, users with permission to approve requests from all employees can assign this permission to their substitute users, or limit substitutes to approving requests made by the user’s reporting employees only.
  • The Auto Generate Reports preference can now be disabled, allowing administrators to prevent the automatic generation of default reports when a report page is opened. This preference applies to all text and graphical reports, and is especially useful for users with large databases for whom default reports take a longer time to generate.

Fixed in Web TimeOff Version 2.3

The following issues are fixed in version 2.3 of Web TimeOff:

  • The UserName field has been increased to 255 characters. (52358)
  • A user’s time off balance now takes into account both accruals and time off requests before the maximum limit is applied. (52778)
