Installing and Upgrading to Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks Version 3.2



Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks is dependant on license keys. If you are installing Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for the first time, you require a license key before you can use the application. If you are upgrading from the Integration Manager for QuickBooks (XML) or from Web TimeSheet Integration Manager for QuickBooks, you can use the same license key, but you must make sure that your maintenance program is current.

PREREQUISITE: You must have Web TimeSheet 7.5 or higher installed BEFORE you install the Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks Version 3.2.

To install or upgrade to Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks Version 3.2, follow these steps:

  1. Download and read the Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks Version 3.2 SR2 Release Notes: QBI32 Release (pdf)

  2. If you currently have the Integration Manager for QuickBooks (XML) installed, you must uninstall it before you install version 3.2. You can uninstall the XML version as follows (Note: If Web TimeSheet and QuickBooks are installed on different servers, you must remove the XML version of the Integration Manager from BOTH systems):

    1. Close QuickBooks and the Integration Manager for QuickBooks.
    2. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
    3. Select QB_DCOM from the program list.
    4. Click the Change/Remove button and follow the instructions to remove the program.

  3. Download the Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks User Guide. Chapter 2 contains the full installation and upgrade instructions. Note: You do not need to uninstall the previous version of the Integration Manager for QuickBooks prior to the upgrade. http://download1.replicon.com/docs/qbi32/QBI32QuickStartGuide.pdf

  4. Download and install the Web TimeSheet Billing Integration for QuickBooks Version 3.2 software from the following URL: http://download1.replicon.com/products/qbi/release/3.2/QBIntegration32.exe
