New Robust MS Project Integration Manager

Replicon solutions use Web Services and XML standards-based approach to enable integration with any 3rd party applications. Based on open Internet standards, Replicon's XML API allows integration applications to be built using any platform, object model, and programming language that is required.

The new Web TimeSheet Integration Manager for Microsoft Project allows users to update project/task information, project team assignments, and timesheet data between Web TimeSheet and Microsoft Project Server 2003 easily and efficiently.

The Web TimeSheet Integration Manager of Microsoft Project is available for Microsoft Project Server 2003.

Web TimeSheet Provides Flexibility

New Permissions
Three new actions have been added to the Add/Edit Permission screen under the new Integration heading:

  • "Override permissions to allow exporting' of all data in Web TimeSheet allows you to override the user's existing permissions for the purpose of exporting data from Web TimeSheet to an external application via the integration manager (e.g, Microsoft Project).
  • "Override permissions to allow importing' of all data in Web TimeSheet" allows you to override the user's existing permissions for the purpose of importing data into Web TimeSheet from an external application via the integration manager.
  • "Can authorize integration applications" allows you to specify whether a user can enable/disable the connection from an external (installed outside the Web TimeSheet server) integration manager to Web TimeSheet.
Number of Task Levels Increased to Ten
The project structure has been enhanced to allow up to ten task levels (previously allowed four).

Journal Functions Moved to Projects Menu
The following items have been moved from the Journals menu to the Projects menu for the purpose of consolidating all project-related functions:

  • Add Project Notes
  • List Notes by Project
  • List Notes by User
New Integration Menu
A new Integration menu provides access to integration-related features including integration setup, access to the Web TimeSheet Integration Manager for QuickBooks (XML), and links to download/install local copies of the Web TimeSheet Integration Manager for Microsoft Project Server.
