Service Release 5 Release Notes

General

  • 3.3 to 4.0 - Multiple issues surrounding this upgrade have been resolved.
  • Macintosh Export to excel working properly and comments are automatically saved when logging out.

Administration

  • List Expenses Are now correctly filtering based on Users and Approval Status
  • E-mail Notifications Timesheet overdue e-mails all reference the correct start date for the user.
  • E-mail notifications Users will not receive e-mail notifications after their End Date if set up as such in the system.
  • Disabled Notifications Disabled e-mail notifications are no longer sent out at the user level.

Timesheet

  • Editing All timesheets can now be edited in a migrated database from 3.3 to 4.0
  • Navigation Links (previous page) Timesheet Rejected, Waiting and Approved, have links to next page in navigation.
  • Submitted All rows with 0 hours are deleted from all the corresponding tables.

Approvals

  • Mileage rates Remain at 3 decimal places for approver to view during approval process.

Projects

  • User Lists Disabled users do not show up in selected dropdown lists

Journals

  • List Journals Now functioning outside of Administration module as well.
  • Journal Entries Project leader can view all journal entries.

Reports

  • Performance Substantial performance improvements have been made it the Timesheet Billing and Project Status reports.
  • Timesheet Status Report Correct date is now displayed in report heading
  • Detailed Task Certain migrated databases from 3.3; the report pulls out all of the correct data.
  • Default Settings The default settings on reports have been changed to specific settings rather than all as a setting.
  • Project Status - Detailed Task -User report - values are consistent in the report when compared to the user's timesheet.
  • Project Project Summary and Project Detail reports are now consistent when displaying information.
  • Export to Excel Now functioning fully in all cases.
  • Comments No longer cutoff in the detailed task report
  • Vacation Reports In certain instances vacation data was not displaying accurately; this has been resolved.

Expenses

  • Currencies Expenses remember the correct dates and rates in all scenarios
  • Netscape 4.7 - Can now submit expenses with this browser version
  • List Expenses All unsubmitted expenses are now showing in this report
  • Expense History All rejected expenses display correctly in expense history report.

ProMax

  • Vacation Vacation values in TimeSheet Admin table are now being pulled over correctly to ProMax reports.
  • Object updates Material improvements have been made to allow ProMax objects to refresh in a much shorter timeframe.
  • Department List - Lists all active departments in the dropdown rather than just those which have time off
