What’s New in Web TimeOff Version 2.1
The following new features are available in version 2.1 of Web TimeOff:
- Banked time
Employees can now request to add time, such as additional hours worked on a day
off, to their time off balance. Once a banked time request is approved, the time
is added to the balance for the specified time off type and is available to take
as time off in the future. Time banking can be enabled for individual time off types
as desired.
- Graphical reports
Graphical reports provide a visual representation of the total amount of time requested.
The charts can be broken down by any number of variables, such as time off type,
employee type, or category.
- Improved visibility when reviewing requests
When reviewing a request, approvers can now see the amount of time off already approved
for future time periods. With this information, approvers are provided the complete
picture of an employee’s time off balance.
- Simplified importing
The import process has been simplified, with improved import file formatting for
easier creation and editing. Additionally, where applicable, users are now provided
the option to either add and update the existing data or replace it completely.
Version 2.1 of Web TimeOff requires version 2.0 of Microsoft .NET Framework on the
Web TimeOff server. Previous versions of Web TimeOff only required version 1.1 of
.NET Framework. The installation program will automatically download and install
version 2.0 if it is not already.
