What's New in Web TimeOff 1.1

New features in the Version 1.1 product release include:

  • Selection of hours or days
To accommodate organizations that work in hours as well as days, administrators can now independently select the resolution that employees make time off requests in, and specify the units that reports and status information will be displayed in.

  • See Approved Time Off Requests for Team Members
This feature allows administrators to define a broader selection of employees that would be visible within the calendar. The category and group settings are used to define the shared set of team members for each employee. For ordinary employees, the approved time off requests for this shared team are shown within the normal calendar. For those who have staff reporting to them, the shared team information is shown in the new Shared calendar.

  • Maximum Carry-Over
Reset carry-over can now be specified as a maximum. For the reset point that typically occurs annually for each time off type, it is now possible to designate a maximum number of days that will be rolled over from the old period to the new one.

  • Multiple Rates for Time Off Types
Multiple rates are available for each time off type. For situations such as vacation time, where accrual entitlements can change after specific levels of seniority are reached, Web TimeOff allows administrators to preset the effective date of a change in accruals. When the specified date is reached, the system will automatically update the user’s settings.

  • Personalized Icons for Holiday Calendar
Administrators can now define their own icons for identifying holidays on the calendar.
