New Features of Web TimeSheet 4.6
Overall Performance
Many changes have been made to improve the overall performance of Web TimeSheet. They include areas such as timesheet loading, managing favorites, approvals, reporting, ProMax object refreshing, dial-up login access, and much more..
Application Server Clustering (for SQL and Oracle versions only)
With larger installations of Web TimeSheet a bottleneck can often occur at the application server when hundreds of employees are attempting to access the program at the same time. Application Server Clustering allows organizations to set-up Web TimeSheet on multiple servers while still accessing the same database, thus increasing the speed of performance at peak time entry periods.
Substitute User
a. Enhanced login screen to simplify the login process for substitute users
b. New substitute user background image displayed on all Web TimeSheet screens, reminding the user that he/she is logged in as a substitute user for someone else.
Enhanced edit permissions screen
A new tab structure on the edit screen has been developed for permissions, further simplifying the set-up process of Web TimeSheet.
Auto Generate Reports
A system preference to specify whether Web TimeSheet automatically generates reports. Thus reducing the time you spend waiting to generate reports.
Edit historical timesheets and expenses
Administrators now have the ability to "edit" users' time and expense sheets by opening them from the Historical Timesheets and Historical Expenses screens.
Mark Expenses as "Not Paid"
A "Not Paid" button has been added to the Historical Expenses screen to change the status of expense sheets from "Paid" to "Not Paid".
