As Chief Executive Officer, Raj Narayanaswamy is responsible for executing the company's strategic goals and leading corporate initiatives. With more than 25 years of software development and senior management experience, Mr. Narayanaswamy is widely recognized for his visionary approach in developing innovative software applications that meet the needs of leading enterprise organizations. Mr. Narayanaswamy has a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai-India, and is an active member of the high-tech business community.
Lakshmi Raj Co-founder & Co-CEO
In her position as Co-Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Raj is focused on strategic initiatives for Replicon's global operations, including market share expansion, revenue generation, and worldwide sales activities. Ms. Raj has extensive experience in web-based marketing. She was instrumental in providing global visibility for Replicon's product. Prior to starting Replicon, she worked as a software engineer for Verity (formerly known as FTP Canada). Ms. Raj holds degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.
Peter Kinash Chief Financial Officer & India COO
With over 25 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, Mr. Kinash, who also holds the Institute of Corporate Directors ICD.D designation, offers a wealth of experience in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and securities filings. He specializes in guiding growing high-tech companies to maturity, an ability that led him to great success as the former leader of the Information, Communication, and Entertainment practice of KPMG Calgary.
Brent Sapiro Executive Vice President, Global Sales
Mr. Sapiro is responsible for worldwide revenue generation, including new business acquisition and expansion of the customer base. He has over 15 years of executive-level experience in the Internet and Software-as-a-Service industries. Prior to joining Replicon, Mr. Sapiro served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Affectiva, and held executive leadership roles at both Cisco and WebEx. As WebEx's Vice President of Commercial Accounts and Public Sector, he was a key contributor to driving WebEx’s revenue to over $450M, and ultimately led to Cisco’s acquisition of the company for $3.2B in 2007.
Suresh Kuppahally Executive Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Mr. Kuppahally is responsible for Replicon’s Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) operations. He has 20+ years of combined experience in enterprise software and SaaS, with a track record of translating marketing vision into successfully deployed products. Prior to Replicon, he was the founding SVP of Engineering at TrueDemand, where he built SaaS solutions for the retail sector. Earlier in his career he also held senior management roles at leading technology companies including i2, RightWorks, and Sybase. Mr. Kuppahally has a degree in Computer Science and an MBA.
David Somers Executive Vice President Marketing & Alliances
Mr. Somers brings 14 years of experience to his role at Replicon, where he is responsible for marketing and driving growth and reach through the company’s expanding partner ecosystem. Prior to joining Replicon, he served as Vice President of Global Alliances and Strategic Initiatives at Cornerstone OnDemand, Manager of Strategy at Ariba, and in business consulting roles for organizations such as The Walt Disney Company and IBM/PwC. Mr. Somers holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, as well as a BS in Kinesiology from Indiana University.
Steve Collins Vice President Sales, North America
Mr. Collins has more than 15 years of experience in sales leadership and partnership development, as well as in delivering HR and technology solutions to Fortune 500 clients. Prior to Replicon, he served as Regional Director of Sales for Kronos Inc.'s Manufacturing practice and as Vice President of Sales for Integral Systems, an international HCM company. A graduate of Xavier University’s Senior Management Program in Ohio, he earned a B.A. in Political Science from Fayetteville State University. Mr. Collins is also a decorated veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
Adam Walker Vice President Sales, Europe
With over 12 years of experience as a sales leader within the Software Industry, Mr. Walker comes to us from Epicor Software (formally Solarsoft) where he spent several years leading the EMEA region in new business acquisition. Prior to that he helped NetSuite establish itself in the UK market, and contributed to establishing the Sage Accountants Division into a multi-million pound business and a market leader within the Accountancy sector. Mr. Walker’s career has focused on SaaS, ERP, CRM and the reconstruction and rebuilding of sales organizations, as well as the development and management of new teams, new marketplaces, and new routes to market.
John Kearney Vice President Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan
As VP of Sales for APAC, Mr. Kearney is responsible for building and developing the business and managing the company’s rapidly expanding customer base, while allowing Replicon to implement products and strategy specific to the region. With almost 17 years of experience in enterprise software and SaaS, Mr. Kearney has led sales, pre-sales, and product strategy for leading enterprise software organizations including CA Technologies, Niku Corporation, and SAP.
Vien Nguyen-Vu Vice President, Human Resources
As VP of Human Resources, Ms. Nguyen-Vu brings more than 15 years of experience in software development, product management, and human resources – a combination that gives her excellent insight into the inner workings of a fast-paced, high profile Cloud organization. She is responsible for Replicon's global Human Resources strategy, focusing specifically on talent recruitment and retention, performance management, and compensation/bonus programs. Her Topgrading approach has made a valuable impact on Replicon's global team. Ms. Nguyen-Vu is a Certified Global Professional in HR (GPHR) with an MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, and she holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree.

Jason is a founder and General Partner of Emergence Capital and has over fifteen years of experience in the venture capital business. Prior to founding Emergence, Jason spent six years as a General Partner with USVP and as an associate and Kauffman Fellow with Venrock, the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family. Earlier in his career he worked at Bain & Co. and Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
Jason has led successful early-stage venture investments that became market leading public companies such as SuccessFactors (SFSF), DoubleClick (DCLK), aQuantive (AQNT), Visual Networks (VNWK), and Ask Jeeves (ASK). He also led investments in Yammer (acquired by MSFT) and EchoSign (acquired by Adobe) and currently serves on the boards of Lotame, ServiceMax, Digital Airstrike, TouchCommerce, xAD, and is a board observer at Box.
Jason joined the board of the National Venture Capital Association in 2012. He is Chairman Emeritus and on the Board of the Center for Venture Education and the Kauffman Fellows Program, the leading educational fellowship in venture capital. Jason serves as Chairman of the West Coast Research Center for Harvard Business School and is on the HBS Global Advisory Board. He is also a Founding Board member of Endeavor, a non-profit serving the needs of entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
Jason graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard with Distinction. Upon graduation, Jason was selected for the Charles Williams Fellowship at Harvard Business School for post-graduate research in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Jason is married with two children. The most unique trivia about Jason is that he is a twin married to a twin.
Chamath Palihapitiya is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Social+Capital Partnership (Social+Capital) – a venture capital fund based in Palo Alto, CA that incubates and invests in breakthrough companies in healthcare, education, financial services, mobile and enterprise software. Preceding his focus as an investor, Chamath was the longest tenured member of Facebook's senior executive team and helped drive its ascension to one of the most important companies in the world. Prior to Facebook, Chamath had leading roles at The Mayfield Fund, AIM+ICQ, and Winamp. In addition to his focus at the fund, Chamath is Owner and Director of the NBA's Golden State Warriors. Chamath was born in Sri Lanka, grew up in Canada, and graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Aaron Levie is the CEO and co-founder of Box, which he originally created as a college business project with the goal of helping people easily access their information from any location. Box was launched from Aaron's dorm room in 2005 with the help of CFO Dylan Smith. He is the visionary behind Box's product and platform strategy, which is focused on incorporating the best of traditional content management with the most effective elements of social business software. He has spoken about content and collaboration tools at events such as Fortune Brainstorm Tech, Web 2.0, Dreamforce, Accenture Global Summit, South by Southwest, and Svase.
Aaron studied business at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California before taking a leave of absence.
Dave joined SurveyMonkey in April 2009. He has been a successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and technology and music industry executive. He has run, and successfully grown, several online consumer businesses.
Dave founded LAUNCH Media Inc. in 1994, which delivered music and music-related content online, and he led the company through its acquisition by Yahoo! in 2001. Following the sale, Dave served as Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo! Music, where he led the company's global music operations and built it into the Internet's most-visited music destination. In 2006, Dave was named one of Billboard Magazine's top power players in digital music. From 2007 until he joined SurveyMonkey in 2009, Dave served as an Entrepreneur in Residence with Benchmark Capital where he evaluated investment opportunities for the firm and advised portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Dave was Director of Marketing Strategy and New Business Development at Capitol Records in Los Angeles. Currently, Dave also serves on the Board of Directors at Dashbox, The Washington Post Co. and the non-profit New Schools Venture Fund. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Government.
David O. Sacks is the Founder and CEO of Yammer, Inc. Sacks was previously the COO of PayPal until its acquisition by eBay. Subsequently, he founded Geni.com, a family tree building and networking website. He also produced and financed the hit movie Thank You For Smoking. David recently sold Yammer to Microsoft for $1.2 billion.
David holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
Serving as Chief Executive Officer, technology and SaaS veteran David Obrand brings close to 20 years' experience in sales, technology, operations and management to Fuzebox. In this role, David drives the growth of Fuzebox, accelerating product development and expanding global sales and marketing operations.
Prior to joining FuzeBox, Obrand was Chief Customer Officer at Yammer, playing an instrumental role in the company’s fast-paced growth and eventual acquisition by Microsoft for $1.2 billion in 2012. Additionally, David served as Vice President of Vertical Sales at Salesforce.com. During his near 10-year tenure, he established record revenue growth, quickly scaling Salesforce’s global footprint. He has also held sales and business development positions at leading technology companies such as Promptu Corporation, Sagent Technology and Siebel Systems.
David holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Claremont McKenna College. In his spare time, David is an avid scuba diver, angel investor, and philanthropist. He lives in Moraga, California with his wife and two amazing children.
Vijay Tella was most recently the VP of Mobile Video at Skype, after it acquired Qik, where he was the CEO. Qik was the pioneer and the leader in mobile video communications and video sharing for smart phone users globally.
Prior to Qik, Vijay was the Chief Strategy Officer for Oracle Fusion Middleware where he helped grow the division from $220M to $2.5B in revenue in five years. Vijay was a founder and SVP of Engineering at TIBCO, a leading provider of real-time middleware communications products. During his tenure at TIBCO, the company grew to more than $300M in annual sales and went public via an initial public offering. Prior to TIBCO, Vijay was a VP at Teknekron Software systems, which was acquired by Reuters Plc in 1994.
Vijay is currently an investor or a board member in a half dozen technology start-ups, including a couple, PlayMoolah and Metacert, that are focused on children’s financial literacy and online safety respectively.
Mr. Tella has an MS in computer science from UCLA, where he received the Outstanding MS Graduate award from the School of Engineering and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Vivek Ranadivé is an entrepreneur, technology visionary, author, philanthropist, and sports team owner recognized for his outside-the-box thinking. Mr. Leonard founded CSI in 1995. Prior to founding CSI, Mr. Leonard worked in the venture capital business for eleven years. Mr. Leonard holds a BSc. from the University of Guelph, and a MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
