Timesheet Provider, Replicon Inc, Named One of Canada's Best Workplaces for 2009
Replicon has again been recognized as one of Canada's Best Workplaces for 2009 by the Great Places to Work Institute of Canada
The Great Place to Work Institute exclaims, "At the heart of our definition of a great place to work - a place where employees ‘trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with’ - is the idea that a great workplace is measured by the quality of the three, interconnected relationships that exist there:
- The relationship between employees and management
- The relationship between employees and their jobs/ organization
- The relationship between employees and other employees”
Based on the aforementioned criteria, employees anonymously submit surveys where they rate a series of statements as they best describe their workplace.
When employees were asked, "Is there anything unique or unusual about this organization that makes it a great place to work?" several employees (anonymously) submitted comments based on management, respect for other employees, fairness, credibility and pride.
One such answer quoted, "Personal and professional opportunities here are endless. The company is always striving to improve itself and at the same time giving individuals the motivation and encouragement to achieve their desires." Another such comment stated, "This is a great place to work because people care about each other. It doesn't seem so much like work when you are surrounded by people that care for you as an individual. Plus, the door to management is always open - they listen."
