Established in 1989, 1-800-GOT-JUNK? has grown from one location in Vancouver to over 250 franchise locations internationally. The Challenge
Previously, the head office at 1-800-GOT-JUNK? relied on one person to manually administer time off requests, accruals and balances on excel spreadsheets and paper-based systems. However, as the company continues to grow the maintenance of time off requests and balances has become too labor-intensive and prone to inaccuracies.

We needed a system where employees could see their own vacation balances themselves, rather than always having to ask the payroll department or their manager, explained Harpreet Sandhu, payroll and benefits administrator for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Vancouver, British Columbia.
